Charlie Humble-Thomas
b. 1991
Charlie Humble-Thomas is an industrial designer based in London.
His practise is object-focused and looks to refine quality through the manipulation of materials and processing. The items he makes draw on our sense of nostalgia and desire for playful functionality.
Working for some of the city’s leading consultancies including Map Project Office & Barber Osgerby, he has almost a decade of experience in the industry. After graduating from the Royal College of Art in 2021, his focus is now on partnerships with brands and research institutions.
In 2023 he co-founded the design research collective, Computer Room, who have collaborated with the British Council. His workshop office is in Hoxton.
